MGM Commerce Students Bid Farewell to Sureshramana Mayya

The faculty of Commerce Department, members of the Commerce Club and students of Commerce Department arranged a farewell function to Dr. Sureshramana Mayya, Head, Department of Commerce. The programme was held at Nutana Ravindra Mantap on 06.01.2018. Ms.Tejamrutha  compered the programme. Mrs. Vanitha Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce enlightened the gathering with the achievement and contribution of Dr. Mayya, Miss. Keerthi PM , faculty department of commerce shared her opinion about Dr. Mayya, Ramesh Karla  Head, Department of Commerce appreciated the dedication, hard work and commitment of Dr. Mayya . Prof. Kusuma Kamath, former Principal lauded the contribution of Dr. Mayya during NAAC visit to the College and his research activities. Prof. Lxminarayana Karanth, Head, Department of Economic spoke about the contribution of Dr. Mayya. CA Sridhar Kamath, Core Faculty of B.Com Vocational Course highlighted the contribution of Mayya in carrying forward the tradition of retaining the quality of B.Com Vocational Course in the capacity of its Director.  Many students spoke about Dr. Mayya and his teaching. Dr. Sandhya R Nambiar Principal MGM College felicitated Dr. Mayya along with the faculties of Department of Commerce  and said he has established his unique personality in this College. His disciplined and committed work made him different than others. Mr. Sreekar Pai, Student Leader was also present on the stage on this occasion and spoke about the commitment of Dr. Mayya. Dr. Mayya thanked the former Principal Prof. Kusuma Kamath, Management of the College, faculty of the Department, present Principal of the College and students of the College for giving wonderful opportunity.
